We have multiple LAYERS of cameras, both hardwired and wireless. Ring has been our top pick for wireless for years! At these prices I think it is prudent to have a camera on back doors too, not just front!

Because we have lived through a home fire (a rat in the attic, not lint), we are diligent about cleaning smoke detectors (you don’t want the sensing eye to get dusty) and dryer vents, lint clean-out, and behind the dryer. This kit makes that so easy!

STEAL! Most of our 2.5 acre yard is landscaped so we put our hoses to the test. This one has excellent reviews (thousands of 5 star!) and is a bargain!

While these are not optimal for every type of fire, they don’t need to be replaced or recharged like fire extinguishers and it less intimidating to learn to use for children. It is best to have several options close and hand, fire prevention and preparedness is not either/or, it is AND!
